For grown-upsJoin the Kibi Club

Everyone is welcome here

However you like to visit, this place is yours.

Last looked over on 5 August 2026

Kibi's Corner is made for small children, and for the grown-ups sitting beside them. However you like to visit, with a mouse or a keyboard, listening or reading, with the words made bigger or the movement made calmer, we want it to feel the same. Gentle, easy, and yours.

Here is how the site behaves, honestly, including the parts we are still working on.

Gentle movement

The meadow moves softly. Clouds drift, butterflies wander, and Kibi shifts a little as though she is mid stroll.

If your device asks for less movement, the site listens. Rather than switching everything off and leaving something flat, it changes to a quieter mode where things fade in softly instead of traveling or bouncing. The page still feels alive, and nothing goes sailing across the screen.

Nothing here flashes, strobes, or blinks. Not on any page, not ever.

Visiting without a mouse

Everything can be reached with a keyboard.

  • A "Skip to main content" link appears the moment you press Tab, so you never have to travel through the whole row of doors
  • Wherever you land is outlined with a clear double ring, drawn to stay visible on the pale meadow and on the dark night sky alike
  • Kibi answers to Enter or Space, exactly as she answers a tap
  • The songs and the hidden ladybug are real buttons, so they work by keyboard too

If you listen to the page

Pictures that carry meaning have descriptions written for them. Artwork that is purely decorative is kept quiet, so it does not clutter what you hear.

Buttons and links are named for what they do rather than what they look like. When Kibi says something, it is announced gently rather than interrupting. Links that open a new tab say so before you follow them.

Easy on the eyes

Words are dark navy on warm cream, a pairing chosen to stay comfortable over a long visit. The night footer turns it around, soft white on deep navy.

Text grows when you zoom in or raise your browser's text size, and the layout reflows to suit rather than breaking.

Buttons are big and round on purpose. That helps small hands, and it helps anyone whose hands do not always land exactly where they meant to.

Sound, only when you ask for it

Nothing ever plays by itself. No music in the background, no autoplay, nothing that starts talking while a baby is asleep in the next room.

Kibi's two songs play only when somebody chooses to press the button, and they play softly. Press again and they stop.

In the games, Kibi reads every instruction aloud, so reading is never needed to play.

On a phone or a tablet

Everything reflows into a single column. Nothing scrolls sideways, and nothing needs pinching to read.

What we are still working on

We would rather tell you than let you find out.

The main places have been built to the standard described here. A few of the quieter corners are older and are being brought up to match.

No outside expert has reviewed the site yet. Everything above was built and checked against WCAG 2.1 AA as a guide, but that checking was done by us.

Kibi's welcome video is on the home page now. It never starts on its own, it never makes a sound until somebody presses play, and it stops the moment you ask it to. It carries captions, so the words of the song appear on screen as Kibi sings them. The same words are written out under the song button in the meadow, for anybody who would like to sing along.

If something here is hard, please tell us

A short note is plenty. Tell us which page you were on and what happened, and we will put it right.

Write to support@kibiscorner.com and a real person will read it.
